PSP Government College Shahpura commemorated the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar with a special event, graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Suresh Chandra Sen, Baudhik Pramukh of RSS, Bhilwara.
Mr. Sen eloquently highlighted the life and contributions of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar, emphasizing her pivotal role in shaping the administrative, judicial, and welfare framework of the Malwa region. He detailed her extraordinary journey, overcoming numerous challenges to become a symbol of resilience and leadership. A staunch devotee of Lord Shiva, Ahilyabai is credited with establishing over 150 religious institutions, leaving a legacy of devotion and governance.
In his address, Mr. Sen inspired the students by drawing lessons from her life, encouraging feelings of nationalism and patriotism. He urged the audience to emulate her spirit of dedication and service to society.
Dr. Pushkar Raj Meena, Principal of the college, also addressed the gathering, urging students to follow the ideals of great Indian administrators and freedom fighters like Ahilyabai Holkar. Faculty members and students benefited from the enriching lecture, making the event a memorable tribute to one of India’s most revered leaders.
